tkstore breezes in with effortless summer sophistication

Turet Knuefermann has produced yet another stunning, versatile and effortlessly chic collection that is set to send hearts-a-flutter, a designer who focuses on women and their lives - she reveals something that feels true but does not ignore that women are taking a realistic view of the present.

Drawing her inspiration from the magnificent Kingfisher – in Portuguese: ‘River Guardian” – Turet, during her recent travels was drawn to a bottle of wine that featured a sketch of the bird. The sense of freedom embodied within the small depiction reminded her of the rugged beauty of New Zealand

Turet’s Spring/Summer 2010/11 collection is expressed through ocean blues, deep turquoise and warm earth shades, which present sexy, understated, yet easy to wear pieces.

“Australian Inky designer Julie Morin brought my inspirations to life by designing the expressive Kingfisher print that is represented throughout the range”, says Turet.
“I love to design adaptable pieces but always with a vision for the contemporary woman who has her own unique style and individuality", she continues.

Jackets both cropped and masculine, are cleverly shaped to flatter the figure also make an appearance - with Knuefermann giving them a summery-spin on these usually winter-friendly pieces through the use of light, lush fabrics and beautifully vibrant colours.

Turet Knuefermann and tk are now available in nine counties throughout Europe and New Zealand.
